It’s been a minute since Krayzie Bone and Mariah Carey Collaborated on a song. I say it’s about time they get back together in the studio and bring us those smooth, sensual tracks that they gave us back in the days, but in these times we are living in now with music.
I mean come on, nobody does it better than these two legends right here! When Mariah started collaborating with hip-hop artists. Everyone wanted to have a singer and rapper in their video. But Mariah hit the jackpot and got the best of both worlds when she collaborated with Krayzie Bone!
Their voices sound so beautiful together! I can listen to them all day and still fall in love with their sound. It's so mellow and relaxing. While Krayzie was in the studio recently, he played the song Break down. I immediately got transported back into time.
It made me almost shed a tear. I realize in that moment how much times and music has changed. I missed the days when artist had actual album sales. There was no streaming. You were excited to watch a music video and hear it on the radio, then you went and bought the album.
Artists used to also have so much exposure back then. If you were and artist out in the 90s, you were on a television show or in the movies. You had to be talented to be in the music industry. Now, anybody can just be in it. How did we get here??
I need this collabo to happen... because If Mariah and Krayzie Bone don’t collaborate, it’s going to break me down. I really miss these two making music together. I still believe that one day they will make music again. It’s time!... It's been time!
